For my first voice session, i discussed with my fellow course members what kind of voice we think we have when we perform. I explained that i believe i mainly use my head voice more than my chest voice and want to have a better understanding of how to use my chest voice better when i am in a performance environment. This led on to a relaxation exercise which allowed us to find points of tension and try to get them into a relaxed state of mind. it also meant that we had to trust our partner because they would be helping with the relaxation. I found this chalenging because i find it very difficult to get relaxed but i think that if i continue to do this everyday then i should start to find it easier to get relaxed in any environment.
